Gambling With My Mileage

I decided yesterday to get off my lazy butt and get back to running. I mentioned last week that it had been a while, but by yesterday, it had been a whopping 2 1/2 weeks since I had done any physical activity.

Time to do this.



But one question plagued me... How far do I go?


Only one logical way to answer that...

Roll!



I shook it up and let it go...



Gah. 5 Miles? No thanks.



I told Ryan to look away as I re-rolled.


Ok, now I'm angry.


One last roll to decide my fate...


Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease...


Sigh. Good enough. 4 miles it is!


Well, I only ended up running 3.1, but I was pretty happy with it. Perfect weather... a perfect first run back. 5 1/2 weeks until my 5K!

You could've taken the first roll and said it was kilometers and not miles. :)

What a great idea to roll a die when you don't have a plan :)

I haven't done much in almost as long either.... I went from doing something every day for about an hour to doing 2 or so short runs a week. Eeek!
