Final Weigh-In Results

It hurts to have to admit this to the blogger world... but, I lost.

I know what you're thinking: "WHAT?! No way!"

Yes way.

Well... here are the official stats:

Ryan
Beginning Weight (1/2): 165.6
Mid-Way Weight (1/29): 155.6
Final Weight (2/27): 155.4
Weight Loss: 10.2 lbs (6%)

Kelly
Beginning Weight (1/2): 163.6
Mid-Way Weight (1/29): 158.2
Final Weight (2/27): 157.8
Weight Loss: 5.8 lbs (3.5%)

Yeah, so I got beat PRETTY bad! Although, I'd like to think that I tried WAY harder than Ryan. I think it's much harder for girls to lose weight, and Ryan didn't work out at ALL to lose those 10 lbs (jerk).

So what's my punishment? Ugh. I'm in charge of taking Maggie outside for 1 whole week, along with doing the dishes for 1 whole week. And I have to make Ryan any dinner of his choice from scratch. Oh boy... it's going to be a LONG 7 days!

But I have much bigger goals in mind. This is my official announcement that I would like to lose 18 more lbs by the Chicago Triathlon in late August. That's 18 lbs in under 6 months. Scary? Yes. Doable? Totally. I've even joined eDiets.com to assist my weight loss efforts.

What else is new? Half Marathon training starts TOMORROW! Woah, that's exciting (and terrifying). Why can't it be all sunny and warm out? I want to run outside!

Go Team Kelly!

PS: Tri Dave and his girlfriend are doing their own weight loss challenge, but theirs ends next week. I'm not really worried about them having more time than Ryan and I, cause I'm pretty confident we kicked their butts!

Congratulations to both of you on your weight loss. Dinner from scratch? Here's to hoping Ryan's dinner of choice is Cheetos ;)

Nice work! So, being married for as long as I have, I know better than to comment any more on any weight stuffs.

I am envious of your moxie in publishing your goals on the blog. I always get just a wee bit nervous when I do that. You can do it!

Way to go! Yea, you're going to kick our butts. Tomorrow morning is our final weigh-in and I'm sure neither of us are anywhere near you. Watch tomorrow for my post!

I presume you got Ryan back by feeding him fattening fare so the next weigh-in will go your way. How's the HM train going?
