Oh, What a Week

This work week has barely just begun, and it's already wearing me out. We have a whole new system going in at work, but before it can be hooked up and used, all the directors need to train on it. So starting tomorrow, I will be working morning AND evening shifts. 8:30a - 12:30p, then 3p - 10:30p.

::Clapping:: yayyy!

So, I would like to set a goal. Next week (specifically, Wednesday), once the work training ends, my athletic training will resume.

Today is October 15th, and exactly one month from now is our local 2008 Jingle Bell Run/Walk. It's a national 5k event which raises money for Arthritis. Although she doesn't know this yet, my mom has agreed to do this race with me (it will be her first race ever!).

I'm in a surprisingly good mood today. Even though our work computers crashed and I have a long long week ahead of me, I think I can thank the construction men for my mood. Why them? Because they decided to take the day off. This means I slept... and I mean SLEPT (10+ hours).

What a difference a few hours makes.

Gosh, I don't remember agreeing to do the Jingle Bell 5K, I guess dementia has set in.

I wish i had your sleeping schedule (minus the construction workers). I would love to sleep 10 hours. That would make Kevin a really happy boy!!!

Don't do it mom. Stand your ground. Don't let your children push you around!!!

Kelly, Do you really want to do this to your Mom? Can she do it on the Good Ol Trusty x Rusty bike? Please, we would miss her. Opa in LeRoy
