Today's the big moving day.
Yesterday evening, I took a break from packing/cleaning and went for a walk. I sat down by the river... watching the ducks swim around, and listening to some guy play his guitar as people passed on the path, and boats passed in the water. I always get all nostalgic when I leave someplace that was once my home.
But I look forward to what lies ahead. Ryan and I are ready to move to Indiana and build a life there. I've always loved starting over in a new city and exploring all it has to offer. I have a knack for finding the good in otherwise pretty dismal towns.
I'll be unpacking all weekend, then starting my new job on Tuesday, so I'm sure I won't be around much for a few days. Ryan will be moving in the first week in June. Make sure you stick around for that as I blog about how we drive each other crazy. Then I blog about how mad Ryan gets when I blog about him. Muahaha.
